This app permits a user of CMDB to sync data to the Illumio PCE, using the hostname field as the key. The records can be used to create unmanaged workloads on the PCE. Existing workloads can be labeled using the CMDB fields. The CMDB fields can be customized to map to PCE labels. The import of labels (sync) can be done interactively or via an automatic bulk sync.
Using CMDB data, update workloads and labels on the Illumio PCE
This app permits a user of CMDB to sync data to the PCE, using a common hostname field. The CMDB records can be used to create unmanaged workloads on the PCE. Existing workloads can be labeled using the CMDB fields. The CMDB fields can be customized to map to PCE labels. The import of labels (sync) can be done interactively or via an automatic bulk sync.
-
Sync Filters Simplified - No more Groups for ORing. Simply use multiple sync filters. Lesser processing time, better fine-grain control over what needs syncing. Both CMDB & Label Conditions can be specified using ServiceNow native Condition Builder.
- Sync Filters now have an additional type DELETION - Delete workloads using DELETION and UPSERT using INCLUSION Sync Filters.
- Optimized Previews - Previews are no more foreground job running on browser. They now appear as Scheduled Jobs. Attachments are processed in batches via MID Server and uploaded to target forms back as GZIP to save network load.
- Optimized Discovery & Sync - All operations in primary flows like discovery & sync are done in batches/pages/windows so memory consumption stays the least. Next batch starts executing only after previous batch is done.
- Enriched & Centralized Logging - All activity logs are written to syslog_app_scope whereas an overview of activity is written to Scheduled Job logs. Important operation logs also carry a time value to indicate how much time it took.
