The experimentation framework enables ServiceNow to test feature variants on customer instances and collect feedback to improve product experiences.

- Control access by instance type (single-customer instances and Gen AI Innovation Program participants only)

- New: Centralized feature-flag-driven record gating is now available. Product teams can register records for gating using a shared mapping table and API, enabling consistent feature flag control across platforms without custom logic. Teams can hide or show records based on feature flags and implement gating in their own business rules.
- Changed: Feature rollout to general availability is now managed with enhanced filtering and opt-in behavior. Features reaching GA are enabled by default, hidden from the Feature Preview Program, and instance patch and hotfix version details are now included in filtering. Boolean values are correctly handled in context APIs.
