Integration
With the SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) program for ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM), users that have the SAM (com.snc.samp) plugin activated on their instance can integrate SAM with SAP ERP software.

Support for S/4 HANA named users, engines, and self declared engines
SAP system setup instructions:
- From your ServiceNow instance, activate the SAM SAP (com.sn_samp_sap) plugin.
- Download SAP transport files into your SAP system and then verify that all objects are activated.
- Navigate to SOAMANAGER to set up a web-service HTTP connection for the service definition /NOW/SAMP.

Note: The central SAP client (in which our product files are imported) will connect to other RFC SAP clients based on the provided selection from the /NOW/SAMP_RFC transaction code.
