Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) is the trusted platform for digital government and is designed to help governments improve customer experiences, unify processes and teams, and innovate at any speed.
The purpose-built foundation of data models, workflows, and experiences enables agencies to scale the delivery of services by building new applications in weeks, rather than months. The product provides a standard architecture for provisioning a variety of government services—such as social assistance programs, service requests, licensing/permitting, and so on—with a government data model that supports case types and agency services provided to constituents or their businesses. The application also offers tailored experiences for agents to perform work and for constituents to initiate and manage requests for services.

Interaction pages for email, voice, and chat now use public sector terminology, replacing commercial terms such as 'consumer' with 'constituent', 'contact' with 'business contact', and 'account' with 'business'. Lookup functionality now queries constituent records, ensuring caseworkers retrieve accurate public sector data.
- L3 compliance support for app-psds-agency. The app-psds-agency now supports Level 3 compliance, enabling agencies to meet advanced regulatory requirements.
- Fluent framework adoption for app-psds-agency. The app-psds-agency interface has been converted to the Fluent design system, providing a consistent and accessible user experience.
- Configurable identity data model and access controls for multi-provider SSO. Agencies can now securely store verified identity attributes from external identity providers, with role-based access controls restricting visibility and updates to authorized users and trusted providers.

- Localization and translation improvements across core bundle. Client scripts and widgets now preload translation keys and resolve placeholder patterns, ensuring all UI text extracts correctly for translation and displays as intended. Literal strings are passed directly for translation, and message fields are populated for synchronous getMessage calls, addressing localization warnings flagged in release readiness reports.
- Build configuration update for app-psds-agency. The now-sdk build process for app-psds-agency now passes the "--emitDictionary=false" parameter, optimizing build output and dictionary handling.
