The Service Graph Connector for Meraki enables agile IT organizations to execute a consistent, data-driven approach to incident creation and CMDB management. The Service Graph Connector for Meraki automatically imports Meraki Organizations, Networks and Devices from your Meraki dashboard into your ServiceNow CMDB, and enables proactive IT support by automating the creation of ServiceNow incidents based on Meraki dashboard events.
Rest easy knowing that your Meraki CIs are automatically kept up to date with relevant information from the Meraki dashboard. The ServiceNow Connector for Meraki leverages Meraki’s cutting-edge cloud platform to deliver unmatched network intelligence and context to incident response teams, consistently associating Meraki dashboard data with the appropriate CI types, in compliance with ITIL best practices.
Move beyond email alerts and manual ticket creation. Built on the ServiceNow Service Graph and Meraki’s industry-leading APIs, the Service Graph Connector for Meraki automatically ingests Meraki Dashboard webhook alerts to proactively create incidents with the relevant CI information, delivering diagnostic context directly to your incident response teams without requiring them to log into Meraki dashboard.
The Service Graph Connector for Meraki communicates with the Meraki API to import Organizations, Networks, Devices and Device Statuses. This information will then be transformed into records within the Organizations, Networks and Network Gear and child tables, respectively.
The application also accepts device alerts from the Meraki Dashboard and creates incidents from the received alerts. Priority of incidents can be defined by adding/modifying records in the Device Alerts lookup table found in the System Policy application menu.
