Yokohama, Xanadu, Washington DC Patch 1, Washington DC, Vancouver Patch 1, Vancouver
Introducing a new Related Items component within the CSM Configurable Workspace. This is a standalone component that replaces the related list tabs and can be placed anywhere on the page, especially in regions with limited space.
- Responsive design: The new Related Items component adapts to the available screen space, ensuring optimal display regardless of the allocated real estate.
- Configuration settings: Change the component background color and show or hide the "Related Items" header using the Configure tab in UI Builder to quickly configure the related items.
- Refresh icon: Refresh all accordions and the Related Items component at once.
- Collapsible accordions: The related item types are displayed as collapsible accordions. By default, the first related item type is expanded while others remain collapsed.
- Pagination: Within each expanded related list, only the first 5 items are displayed initially. A "Show More" link loads the next 5 items, providing a manageable and organized view.
- Count indicator: Each accordion shows the total number of items in a related list, which can prevent clicking on a related list that is empty.
- Compact card view: Related list items are presented as cards, showcasing essential information from 5 fields. One of these fields serves as a link to the record, enabling agents to open it in a sub tab for detailed information.
- Full related list view: The complete related list experience for a specific table can be accessed by selecting a link to display all related list items. This action opens a sub tab with the comprehensive view of the related list.
- WCAG 2.1 accessibility: The new Related Items component adheres to WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines, ensuring that it can be used by agents with disabilities and supporting inclusive customer service practices.
- Availability in UIB toolbox: A new Related Items component is added to the UIB toolbox, providing administrators with an easily accessible option.
- Drag-and-drop functionality: Administrators can drag and drop the Related Items component within a page container of their choice. The component automatically connects to the appropriate controller with a preset configuration.
- Default settings: The Related Items component has default settings that align with the current setup. It displays the same related lists and fields as defined in the existing configuration.
- Customizable display: Administrators have the option to selectively display specific related lists while excluding others, granting them control over the component's content based on their preferences and the requirements of their customer service processes.
