Planned Maintenance uses maintenance plans to trigger the creation of work orders. These work orders specify what and when to perform maintenance on devices that are part of the maintenance plans. Work orders and requests can be based on:
- A specified time interval: after a number of months since previous maintenance was performed.
- Meters or usage: after a specified number of pages are printed or a specified number of miles are driven.
Create and manage:
- Maintenance plans
- Schedules
Define various schedule types such as:
- Duration
- Meter
- Condition
- Script
Associate work order templates to schedules to create work orders.
We’ve made Planned Maintenance easier to manage, more secure, and more role-driven.
New
- Introduced the
plan_maint_adminrole for all Planned Maintenance modules and application menus.
Improved
- Access to Planned Maintenance features is now role-based rather than restricted to system admins, enabling broader operational usage while maintaining security.
- Dictionary configurations are updated to ensure that the fields are appropriately set as read-only where required, resulting in a more consistent and predictable user interface experience.
Fixed
- Reviewed the client-side logic for key Planned Maintenance tables and fields.
- Fixed inconsistencies where certain fields appeared editable in the user interface even though they should have been protected.
Dependent on com.snc.planned_maintenance plugin.
