The AI Translation Application powered by Lionbridge will allow your company to keep their ServiceNow environment fully translated through Lionbridge’s real-time translation service Geofluent or through our in-country network of professional translators. The AI Translation Application powered by Lionbridge allows for both machine translation based and human translation-based workflows.
GeoFluent, leverages the industry’s top machine translation engines, but was designed specifically to overcome the inherent limitations of MT engines around quality and security. Through our patented Geofluent technology layer, customers can customize their language profile to account for brand terms and language specific terminology improving the output of machine translation. The result is significantly improved translation, obtained securely, that allows users to effectively understand intent and messaging and take appropriate action. When machine translation is not good enough, your users will have the ability to submit content for human based translation from the industry’s most trusted language services provider, Lionbridge. During deployment, our language teams will work with you to configure the AI Translation app and optimize your Geofluent instance for premium quality and service.
By accessing Geofluent through the AI Translations app, users will be able to:
- Translate any table/field in the system on a schedule or on-demand.
- Allow agents to view any record in their native language. (incident, hr case, etc.)
- Allow end-users to view your company's Service Portal in any language they want.
- Allow users to chat in their native language with anyone in the world.
- Utilize web services to translate applications outside of ServiceNow.
- Deploy standard translation definitions already preconfigured. (fields, choices, knowledge, etc.)
- Add your own translation definitions for any table in the system with no coding required.
- Send content for Lionbridge for post editing or full human translation when machine translation quality is not good enough.
- Both Machine Translation and Human Based Translation workflows: Ability to translate your entire ServiceNow instance through real time machine translation services via Lionbridge Geofluent or through Lionbridge’s network of expert human translators.
- Language Customization: Every organization has its own unique vocabulary, including product and service names and terms that are core to their brand. It’s critical that these terms not be lost in the translation process. This is where translation customization comes into play.
- Security and Data Protection: GeoFluent was designed with security in mind. The SaaS-based solution does not store or record any source text or the corresponding translation. Any translations performed with GeoFluent are encrypted while in flight and the data is never at rest. Equally important, all PII and PCI data is masked. If you have EU Data Privacy concerns (Privacy Shield), GeoFluent has data centers in Europe that ensure data never leaves the EU.
- Scheduled Translations: Translate your entire instance to as many languages as you need. Any record type can be translated on a schedule and kept up to date. Field labels, choice lists, knowledge articles, catalog items, etc.
- On-Demand Translations: Allow users to translate individual records to any language. Any record type can support on-demand translations to allow your agents to communicate with end users. Fields, Variables, and Emails will be translated. Incident, Catalog Task, Change, HR Case, etc.
- Chat Translations: Lets users talk to each other in their own native language without a language barrier. Chat in as many languages in one chat room among agents or just a one on one with an end user from your service portal. All parties will be able to see the chat in their chosen language.
