The ServiceNow® Smart Assessment Connected application enables the following:
- Responding to assessments
- Navigate the assessments efficiently using a progress indicator showing how much of the evaluation is completed. Questions are paginated to help you more easily navigate the assessment. Your work is automatically saved, eliminating the need for manual saving and helping to prevent data loss. You also have the option to reassign in-progress assessments to another user or cancel assessments that are no longer needed.
- Combining multiple assessments into a single, unified submission
- Combine multiple assigned assessments into a single, streamlined view. You can efficiently manage, submit, or reassign these combined assessments. You can use features like bulk submit or bulk reassign to handle all assessments in one action.
- A user-friendly interface for users to submit assessments.
- Quick navigation within the assessment.
- The ability to track assessment submission progress.
New:
- Review a log of every response, justification, and flag-state change made to a question throughout the lifecycle of an assessment, including who made each change and when. Consecutive changes to the same field by the same user within a configurable time window are merged into a single entry, while flag-state changes are always logged individually.
Changed:
- Reopening a drop-down question now shows all response options again, not just the ones user had previously selected.
- For single-select and multi-select reference questions, when a table has more than 10 matching records, select the search icon to browse the full set. This replaces the default behavior of showing only the first 10 records.
- Opening an assessment now lands on the assessment instructions, if configured, or otherwise the first question of the first section or subsection. This applies even if you or a collaborator already answered later questions.
- Sections with an incomplete mandatory justification or attachment in one or more questions now show an exclamation-circle icon with the tooltip "Incomplete response" in navigation. Previously the section in navigation used the same flag icon used for question level flagging, which made the two indicators hard to distinguish.
Fixed:
- Section and subsection descriptions now render line breaks correctly in assessments.
