Healthcare Operations Orchestration is an application that enables operational leaders and care team managers to coordinate complex, multi-department healthcare operations through orchestration cases, task plan templates, and playbook-driven workflows integrated with Planned Work Management (PWM).
- Operational Leader Role: An Operational Leader role in HCO core scope provides read access to HCIT, Biomed, EVS, Facilities, and Care Team cases/tasks. Plan Author and CTWM Viewer roles are also available. A healthcare playbook executor blanket role bundles task plan creator, work management, and planned work admin permissions for playbook execution.
- Orchestration Case & Task Framework: Orchestration Case (ORC) and Orchestration Task (ORT) record types with auto-numbering prefixes, service definitions, workspace list views (My Cases, My Team's Cases, Closed Cases, All Cases), and workspace form views.
- Operational Rounding Playbook: A playbook experience for care team managers to create and execute operational rounding task plan templates. Includes playbook stages with configurable forms, association with task plan template configurations, and integration with the Planned Work Management (PWM) plugin for scheduling.
*Note: This playbook has a dependency on Care Team Work Management - Multi-Case Creation Plugin Integration: Integration with the multi-case creation plugin allows playbook execution to generate multiple Care Team Cases and Tasks across selected affected service organizations from a single orchestration case. A CareteamOrchestrationHandler extension point surfaces both PWM and multi-task creation capabilities.
