As a security analyst, you can use the Security Incident Response Mobile app to access a Now Platform® instance from your Android or iOS mobile device.
You can receive notifications when security incidents or security response tasks are assigned to you or your assignment groups and begin remediation without being tied to the desktop.
Monitor the security incidents the Security Operations Center (SOC) or your assignment groups are responding to with the search criteria that you enter.
- View and update security incidents.
- View and update security response tasks.
- View notifications when a critical incident is assigned to you or one of your assignment groups.
- Reassign a security incident or a security response task item to another member of an assignment group.
- Edit a subset of fields of the security incident or the security response task.
- Search for security incidents that match specific search criteria.
Fixed:
- Fixed and issue where using the "Assign to me" function on a Security Incident record modified the Assignment Group field.
Roles required:
System admin (admin) and security analyst (sn_si.analyst).
Note:
The Security Incident Response Mobile app is not installed as a part of the Security Incident Response core application. They are separate applications that you need to download and install from the ServiceNow Store.
The ServiceNow® Agent app is required on your mobile device.
This ServiceNow Agent app (8.x) is available on the Apple iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. Install this app on your mobile device.
In your Now Platform instance, the activated com.glide.sg and com.glide.sg.agent_native_client plugins are required. To verify that these plugins are installed and activated:
- In your Now Platform instance, navigate to Plugins.
- Search for the plugin IDs (com.glide.sg and com.glide.sg.agent_native_client).
- If they are not activated, activate these plugins. These plugins are required for the Security Incident Response Mobile app.
