Strategic Portfolio Management - Define your organization's planning process with the planning hierarchy framework in Portfolio Planning Workspace. Portfolio Planning Core provides the framework to define your organization's planning process. Portfolio managers can set up a planning hierarchy via lens and lens hierarchy with details of different planning organizations such as portfolios, business units, etc., and their corresponding work items such as projects and demands.
Portfolio Planning Core includes the following key features:
- Configure your organization's planning hierarchy from the CxO level to the team level and everything in between. Whether you're organized into business units, departments, portfolios, programs, or any combination of these, you can model the way you're organized to work with portfolio planning core
- Configure the hierarchy of your planning items from annual strategies to daily tasks. Whether you use demands or projects or any combination of these you can model your planning item hierarchy with Portfolio Planning Core
- Leverage out-of-the-box, pre-configured templates for commonly used planning hierarchies
- New:
- Roadmaps now support admin-defined custom colour themes for better visual alignment with organisational standards.
- Portfolio plans shared with the Viewer setting are now viewable regardless of the user’s read/write access to the associated work.
Note: Record pages remain read/write or read-only based on the user’s permissions. - SPW Lists have been uplifted to use the ServiceNow presentation list component for a more consistent user experience.
