The DevOps Config Policy Content Pack application contains curated policies available by default. You can use these policies to validate your configuration data before customizing them or when adding your own policies.
Tenets of the DevOps Config Policy Content Pack:
- All policies are provided as-is. If you want to make adjustments to the policies for specific requirements, you can make a copy of the policy to do so.
- ServiceNow will only make updates to the policies on the condition where the policy has been found not to work as intended per ServiceNow's testing requirements.
- ServiceNow may choose, at any time, to add/remove policies from the default set as appropriate.
NOTE: If you choose to install this app first, the DevOps Config application and all the dependencies are automatically installed. When you directly install the DevOps Config Policy Content Pack app, ensure that you also install DevOps Config Insights immediately post-installation so as to avoid an error associated with the DevOps Config workspace.
