The Order Management application allows order agents to create orders on behalf of customers and track fulfillment of those orders through order tasks. Orders can also be created by bringing in order data through API from third party systems.
Customers can view the status of the order through the customer portal or through Virtual Agent.
Catalog Admins can use the offer type field to define various types of offers for the product offering, and can also set up price lists to derive the correct list price for the product offering.
The key capabilities of the Order Management application are:
- Roles for order agents, order fulfillment agents, order managers,order administrators, pricing admins and pricing managers
- Ability to create orders through Agent Workspace
- Ability to create orders through third party systems via an API
- Ability to track fulfillment of the orders through order tasks
- Ability for customers to check the status of orders through the customer portal or Virtual Agent
- Ability to track orders for all offer types and be able to see correct prices and charges reflect for one time and recurring product offerings
