Post-assessment actions in the Smart Assessment Engine are designed to streamline and automate tasks based on assessment responses or outcomes. The purpose of post-assessment actions is to automate tasks such as updating a record based on a response to the assessment and creating a new assessment after an assessment is submitted, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
Configure post-assessment actions to automate decisions and enforce outcomes. Post-assessment actions trigger after an assessment is submitted, letting you streamline workflows and reduce manual data entry. Set up rules to execute based on assessment results, or run automatically every time.
What you can do:

- Update field values based on assessment results
- Create follow-up assessments to track progress or escalate
- Generate other records—tickets, incidents, or custom objects
- Define conditions to make actions conditional, or skip conditions to run actions automatically

- Tab switches preserve unsaved changes across General, Questions, Automations, and Scoring tabs. A dirty-state icon on the workspace selector indicates pending changes.
Fixed
- Template copy failures no longer leave orphaned Automation rules behind. Failed copies now remove their associated Automation rules.
