The ServiceNow Talent Development core application supports an end-to-end process for employees and managers to identify, track, and take control of their career growth and development. Embedded within Employee Center, employees have a centralized and unified place to design their personalized roadmap for career growth in an intuitive and comprehensive application.

- Use large language model (LLM)-powered Virtual Agent to help answer common growth and development questions from employees and managers. Available to existing "Now Assist in HR Service Delivery" customers and may require additional Talent Development applications for certain functionalities.
Career Hub
- Enables employees to create their Circle, a core group that can shape and influence an employee's career, such as manager, mentors, peers, and others.
- Can highlight and publish important information for employees using Spotlight feature.
- Timeline snapshot that highlights the progress made by an employee over a certain duration, includes key milestones, such as role changes, skills gained, aspirations or growth plans, or learning completions. Also displays in-progress items for a holistic picture.
- OOTB proactive prompts to nudge employees for continuous engagement.
- Single source for all learning and growth tasks that are assigned to employees as part of career growth tasks.
- Grow, Learn, and Connect sections for details on individual activities that will also act to navigate employees to individual items.
Aspirations
- Empower employees to explore, discover, define, and capture how they want to grow and develop in their career.
- Help employees understand the concept of aspiration, get initial suggestions about possible aspirations, or manage existing aspirations in a centralized place.
- Delivers personalized recommendations for job roles or skills and proficiency levels based on employees' current position and skills gaps.
- Ability to tie in personal passions or wellbeing in the career aspirations in the form of interests for a holistic lens on career growth and development.
- Simple and intuitive guided wizard flow to create an aspiration.
- Privacy settings to enable employees to control and share their aspirations with a select group. Aspirations can be private as well.
Growth Plans
- Employees can create Growth Plans to accomplish their desired outcomes, such as job growth or skill development
- The intuitive and personalized creation flow guides employees to build compelling plans with tangible goals
- Growth Plans leverage contextual data and intelligence to recommend the right skills and development activities
- Support for various Talent Development activities including learning courses, manager check-ins, validations, and custom or free-form activities.
- Employees can collaborate with their managers to get their approval and support.
- Ability to modify the Growth Plan to tailor to an employee's changing needs
- Employees and managers can create new Growth Plans and manage existing plans within the Career Hub and Manager Hub respectively.
