Standalone Application
FSM Configurable Workspace enables agents to engage with customers, answer questions, and resolve issues. FSM Configurable Workspace delivers components and pages to support dispatcher workflows for Agent Workspace.
- Dispatcher dashboard: The Dispatcher Dashboard is the homepage in the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace. The dashboard displays real-time data for the operations and performance of field service agents across their assignments. Dispatchers get instant visibility into the statistics of pending dispatch items and agent location status. In the expanded map, dispatchers can auto-zoom the map to view a particular technician or work order task.
- Automated work assignment: Enables dispatchers to quickly schedule work orders based on technician skills, parts, distance, and recommendations.
- Configurable layout: Provides each dispatcher with a personalized display, including custom filters, advanced search, and sort options. Dispatchers can also configure task and agent cards to display relevant information.
- Dynamic scheduling: Enables dispatchers to automatically select an agent and assign work order tasks. Dispatchers can respond quickly to changes with integrated dynamic scheduling and can reschedule jobs automatically based on the configuration of task priorities and double booking.
New Features and Enhancements
- Task Quick Filters with Skills — Dispatchers can now filter tasks and the calendar panel by skills, parts, SLA, and window end time, with pagination support for large task lists, giving faster access to the specific tasks that match a given filter combination.
- Embedded break and lunch visibility — Scheduled breaks and flexible lunch periods now display directly within task cards, the work order task pop-up, and the work order task customer service portal, so dispatchers and agents can see break details without navigating away from the task.
- Territory metrics — Dispatcher Workspace now calculates and surfaces resource metrics at the territory level, giving dispatchers better visibility into territory-wide workload and coverage.
- Bundle and crew task refinements — Bundle and crew tasks no longer allow embedding where it isn't supported, and the matching-skills sort order used when assigning bundle/crew work has been corrected.
Fixes
- Calendar and scheduling — Fixed an issue where the calendar's selected date was lost when switching views; resolved duplicate and double-rendered events on the calendar, including for personal (non-work) events during auto-refresh; fixed an issue where resizing a task on the calendar did not correctly switch its scheduling method to manual; corrected the confirmation dialog shown after resizing a task so it reflects the right task details; fixed a tooltip that continued to show the previous task's text after a drag-and-drop action; resolved an infinite loading state that could occur when switching calendar views with certain agent filters enabled; and fixed a conflict between the calendar's auto-refresh and manual scrolling that could interrupt the view.
- Tasks and work orders — Corrected the layout shown when opening a work order record from a work order task so it matches the layout used when opening the work order directly; fixed task and record links that incorrectly opened using a generic task type instead of the specific extended task type; resolved an issue where tasks failed to populate for assignment-group-based views; and fixed an issue where date accuracy and crew-field updates could conflict during certain task confirmation flows.
- Territory and resource filtering — Fixed a server error that could occur when the resource filter was applied with certain display settings; corrected a hardcoded mapping dependency that could break territory-based map features on newer releases; and resolved data refresh issues affecting the territory and assignment-group views.
- Localization — Corrected a display issue in a French-language translation.
- Performance — Reduced excessive backend query load that occurred while loading the resource filter navigation menu, and replaced a deprecated mapping API used for route calculations with its supported replacement.
- Security — Strengthened default access controls to prevent unauthorized data access through a filtering component, and fixed a stored cross-site-scripting exposure in how certain task card content was rendered.
- Other fixes — Addressed persisted button state issues, corrected sort behavior when filtering by parts, resolved a delay affecting resource assignment during date navigation when no group or territory filters were selected, and fixed several smaller display and data-consistency issues across the calendar, task panel, and map views.
