The AWS Service Management Connector for ServiceNow (formerly the AWS Service Catalog Connector) allows ServiceNow end-users to provision, manage and operate AWS resources natively via ServiceNow. ServiceNow administrators can provide pre-approved, secured and governed AWS resources to end-users via AWS Service Catalog; configure dual sync of AWS Support cases to ServiceNow incidents, configure and curate change templates as change requests via AWS Systems Manager Change Manager with CloudTrail integration, view and manage operational items as incidents via AWS Systems Manager OpsCenter, configure automation playbooks via AWS Systems Manager Automation, configure dual sync of AWS Security Hub findings to ServiceNow incidents or problems and track resources in the ServiceNow CMDB powered by AWS Config, investigate and resolve incidents affecting AWS-hosted applications directly by AWS Systems Manager Incident Manager and view AWS events and service status availability via AWS Health seamlessly on the ServiceNow with the AWS Service Management Connector.
ServiceNow end-users can browse and request and provision pre-secured solutions via AWS Service Catalog, view/update/incidents generated via AWS Systems Manager OpsItems, view configuration item details in the CMDB and associate to ServiceNow incidents and change requests via AWS Config, create/view/update/resolve ServiceNow incidents via AWS Support cases, request curated change templates via AWS Systems Manager Change Manager including sync AWS CloudTrail events and resource information related to AWS Change request, view/update/resolve ServiceNow incidents/problems via AWS Security Hub findings, view/update/resolve ServiceNow incidents via AWS Systems Manager OpsCenter OpsItems, view AWS health status of AWS accounts via AWS Health, configure dual sync of AWS Incident Manager incident to ServiceNow incidents via AWS Systems Manager Incident Manager and execute automation documents within ServiceNow on AWS resources.
This simplifies AWS product request and resource actions for ServiceNow users and enables you to view streamlined Service Management governance and oversight over AWS services.
