The Service Graph Connector for Claroty xDome & Medigate enables ServiceNow CMDB products for industrial, healthcare, and commercial environments to ingest in-depth details from operational technology (OT), internet of things (IoT), internet of medical things (IoMT), building management system (BMS), and other Extended Internet of Things (XIoT) assets — all of which are automatically discovered and profiled by Claroty’s xDome and Medigate platforms.
Backed by support for ServiceNow’s native data model, these granular XIoT asset details integrate seamlessly into CMDB workflows without additional scripting or manual work. As a result, you will gain a real-time, comprehensive IT-XIoT inventory that is centralized in ServiceNow, empowering you to easily extend existing IT workflows to all connected assets and systems and, ultimately, drive efficiencies and effectiveness where it matters most.
- ServiceNow Operational Technology (OT) Certified Service Graph Connector
- Guided Setup gets you up and running in minutes
- Configurable API filter operands allow you to import a subset of your Claroty xDome or Medigate data into ServiceNow
- Scripted Extension Points allow you to override default mapping
- Scheduled Import uses CMDB best practices including IRE and RTE
- Map devices to OT Sites according to the NIDS Sensor (Claroty Collection Interface) which discovered them and pass NIDS Metadata to imported Configuration Items (CI’s)
- Automated discovery and enrichment of all XIoT assets — including OT, IoT, IoMT, IIoT, and BMS devices — as well as any other cyber-physical systems found in your industrial, healthcare, and/or commercial environments. The connector can both discover an inventory from scratch, populating a blank CMDB, as well as reconcile with existing assets and enrich their data within ServiceNow.
- Merge discovered XIoT inventory with your IT inventory in ServiceNow’s CMDB to create a unified, fully contextualized single-source-of-truth for all connected assets
- Leverage Claroty xDome or Medigate XIOT data in both new and existing IT, IoMT, and OT workflows
- The ability to harness detailed XIoT security, risk, and operational context to optimize your investigation and response workflows for incidents involving XIoT assets
- Automated translation of all XIoT asset and related insights from xDome or Medigate into ServiceNow’s native OT and Medical data models to enable you to use exported asset data across ServiceNow’s Operational Technology Manager (OTM), Vulnerability Response, and Security Operations products, among others — all without any additional scripting or manual work.

Version 1.0.12
Using xDome's device_name field in order to set target class name.
Version 1.0.11
This patch release adds Vancouver support and fixes some bugs with the API Filter Operands.
- Bug Fixes
- API Filter Operands using true/false values are now being sent as proper booleans instead of "true" or "false", which is no longer supported by the API. This fixes an issue with the 'retired' API Filter Operand. The 'has_unique_identifier_for_export' may also have been affected.
- The logic for the _buildFirstSeenQuery is now fixed. A recent update to the platform was causing the function to skip building the 'has_unique_identifier_for_export' and 'minimum_device_age_days' API Filter Operands whether they were Active or not.
Version 1.0.10
This patch adds a few new enhancements to improve the user experience and customization process and patched a bug that was preventing custom API Filter Operands from working if they had a value of 'null'.
- Enhancements
- Adds option to auto-validate all NIDS as a post-script step when the Collection Interfaces import schedule completes
- Adds 'SGxDomeDeviceFlattenerExtension' extension point which can be used to map additional properties and documentation examples for this use case.
- Renames xDome Category and xDome Sub-Category CMDB Key Value pairs to xDome Sub-Category and xDome Device Type Key Value Pairs for improved continuity with xDome/Medigate UI conventions.
- Adds CI attribute mapping for IP Address and MAC Address.
- Note: these are also mapped to Network Adapters as they have always been. The new change is that the first IP Addess and first MAC Address are now also added directly to the CI to make it easier to see this information and find CI's in the list.
- Bug Fix:
- Fixes a bug for when using custom API Filter Operands with a value of 'null'.
- The platform would always send these as a string 'null' which was not compatible with the Claroty xDome / Medigate API; these are now set to a true null in the API helper script include before being passed to the API, resolving the issue.
- Fixes a bug for when using custom API Filter Operands with a value of 'null'.
Version 1.0.09
This patch unchecks the 'before' option on the Register Discovery Source for xDome fix script to address some customer reports that the fix script had to be run manually after installing the integration.
Version 1.0.08
This is the initial release of the integration and is configured to support the IT, OT, and Medical Device hierarchy at this time. The integration is able to provide many attributes related to Medical Devices which may not otherwise be available including FDA Class and CMDB Key Values indicating the presence of PHI. The integration is also ServiceNow OT-Certified, meaning it is compatible with OT products including OTM, Manufacturing Process Manager, and OT Incident Management. The Service Graph Connector can also be paired with the Claroty xDome & Medigate Vulnerability Response Integration to support Servicenow Vulnerability Response and OT Vulnerability Response workflows.
