Web Components for Customer Service provides the ability for CSM organizations to configure ServiceNow web components for seamless self-service customer experiences and embed these web components on the organization’s non-ServiceNow websites.
Web Components for Customer Service includes seven pre-built components:
- Case List: Enable customers to view their ServiceNow cases on non-ServiceNow websites
- Case View: Allow customers to see detailed information about their ServiceNow cases. It also includes a process tab that displays relevant playbooks when they are created for the case record.
- Case Create: Facilitate the creation of new ServiceNow cases on non-ServiceNow websites
- Catalog Item: Create ServiceNow cases using Catalogs on non-ServiceNow websites
- Playbook intake: Submit cases using Playbook's guided experience. Systematically capture case details and display stages and activities involved in resolving the case.
- Knowledge Article View: Displays knowledge articles and their key details like title, content, author, view count, read time, and others.
- Data visualization: Display a graphical representation of information from any ServiceNow table using visual elements such as single score, pie chart, donut & semi donut.
Some organizations have customer data in more than one solution and have one self-service website for all those solutions. With web embeddables, organizations can embed ServiceNow experiences without additional development on their existing non-ServiceNow self-service websites.
