Customer Request for Quote Data Model application includes all the tables needed to store and organize request for quotes submitted by customers through the Business Portal.
- Includes appropriate ACL permissions that are needed to access RFQ and Quote records in both Workspace and Portal by fulfillers and requestor personas.
Initial Release
- Enable B2B customers to submit RFQ requests from the cart instead of proceeding directly to checkout when pricing inquiries are needed.
- Allow customers to optionally specify overall budget details and cumulative target price for top-level products to support price negotiations.
- Provide real-time tracking of RFQs and corresponding quotes in the Business Portal.
- Display quote number and associated details tied to each RFQ for easy reference.
Roles requried :
sn_customerservice.customer - For a customer to create a RFQ record in Portal
sn_sales_common.sales_agent- For agent to create a quote from RFQ
