View software usage information and optimize stale licenses by creating integration profiles. SaaS integration profiles pull your company's software usage information from software vendors. You can use this information to identify which users have not used the software recently.
With SaaS License Management, you can:
- Manage dozens of ready-to-go integrations for your most popular SaaS applications.
- Leverage integrations with SSO providers, such as Okta and Azure AD, to view subscription usage for nearly 10,000 connected applications.
- Create a new SaaS License Connection for any SaaS app with an API.
- View SaaS usage and cost information on the new SaaS Overview Dashboard.
- Optimize SaaS publishers based on activity.
NOTE: The name of the ServiceNow SaaS License Management application has changed from “Software Asset Management - SaaS License Management Integrations” to “Software Asset Management - SaaS License Management”.
- Initiate an integration by creating an application in the SaaS admin account so that you can set up a connection with your ServiceNow instance.
- View software usage information by creating an integration profile.
- Review reclamation rules to ensure that the correct criteria are used to identify reclamation candidates.
- Add an entitlement to track purchased licenses and costs.
This release includes :
- Smartsheet SaaS integration now supports Smartsheet's User Subscription model, showing license distribution across Members, Provisional Members, and Contributors/Viewers
- Microsoft Entra ID SSO integration
- Distinguishes between enabled and disabled user accounts for accurate license tracking
- Generates reclamation candidates for subscriptions assigned through groups, even when no activity is recorded
- Reclamation Summary in the License Operations dashboard. Scheduled jobs that generate reclamation candidates — for Microsoft 365, Adobe Cloud, and any other direct or SSO integration — now publish a summary of those candidates to the Reclamation tab as Reclamation Summary.
- Individual overlapping reclamation candidates for Microsoft 365. Overlapping subscriptions now generate a separate reclamation candidate for each one, so SAM users can act on them individually. Previously, a single overlapping candidate was created per user subscription.
- Okta SSO Integration profiles now allow you to enable or disable the Reclaim subscription option independently when Create Okta subscriptions is enabled
- Removed duplicate job failure alert banners on SSO Integration Profiles during validation failures.
- Adobe Cloud user subscription imports now prevent concurrent job runs, ensuring accurate syncing when the Import Adobe User Subscriptions job is triggered
