The Akeyless Credentials Resolver connects ServiceNow Discovery to the Akeyless Identity Security Platform the cloud-native, SaaS-based secrets vault trusted by Global 2000 enterprises to secure over 220 billion machine identity interactions.
Instead of storing static usernames and passwords in ServiceNow's credential tables, this integration enables your MID Server to fetch credentials dynamically from Akeyless at the moment they're needed. Credentials are never persisted in ServiceNow, never exposed in logs, and automatically benefit from every rotation, policy, and audit capability in your Akeyless vault.
This is the initial certified release of the Akeyless Credentials Resolver on the ServiceNow Store. This integration enables ServiceNow Discovery to resolve credentials dynamically from the Akeyless Identity Security Platform at runtime, eliminating the need to store static credentials in ServiceNow
- ServiceNow instance (Quebec+ recommended) with Discovery and External Credentials enabled.
- MID Server installed and connected to your instance.
- Network access from the MID Server host to the Akeyless Gateway (default https://api.akeyless.io, or your private gateway URL).
- An Akeyless Access ID and one of the supported authentication methods listed below.
