The Now Assist context menu uses the power of AI to help your team write more efficiently in emails, chat messages, and knowledge base (KB) articles. It can create and edit written content from any application or field in a ServiceNow workspace where the Now Assist context menu is enabled.
Now Assist context currently offers:
- Suggested text: When Now Assist has context, it can provide a first draft or response suggestion.
- Elaborate: After an initial draft is written by either Now Assist or an agent, Now Assist can add more details.
- Shorten: After an initial draft is written by either Now Assist or an agent, Now Assist can reduce the number of words.
- Change tone: Select between Casual, formal, and sympathetic tone to customise the tone of your draft.
- Host custom Generative AI skills with guided set-up, developed via the Skill Kit, as readily executable actions.
- Added support to configure the Default Action in the Now Assist context menu through guided setup
- Enabled configuration of extended table support in the Now Assist context menu via guided setup
- Introduced Security ACLs for executing common actions such as Elaborate, Shorten, Change Tone, etc.
- Added a Select Display Screen option to allow users to configure the "In Product Active" and "In Product Roles" fields for Now Assist context menu configurations created through guided setup.
