Standalone Application
A web component that renders ServiceNow analytics data as a table, built on AG Grid Community Edition. It selects the layout based on the incoming data structure, handling grouped, time-series, and multi-dimensional results without configuration.
It consumes the same data as existing dashboard visualizations, so adding a table takes only placement and an optional height. Columns can be resized and reordered, virtual scrolling handles large result sets, and loading, error, and empty states are built in.
- Automatic layout selection for grouped, time-series, and multi-dimensional data
- Virtual scrolling for large result sets
- Column widths calculated from content; resize and reorder supported
- Configurable table height, 200 to 2000 pixels
- Hidden columns and column order respected from the source data
- Built-in loading, error, and empty states, with retry on recoverable errors
- Translated messages through the platform
- No configuration required to render
New
- Period over Period charts now support multiple series visualization. Charts render distinct lines for each series with unique colors, display a legend with human-readable labels, and show relative period labels on the X-axis.
- Automated accessibility validation for data visualizations. Automation covers scenarios where visualizations lack context for numbers, cards display values without context, and gauge buttons lack descriptive access.
Changed
- Business unit impact assessment for chart switching. After switching charts, regression testing identifies failures and required updates for business units, ensuring clear communication of changes and any necessary actions.
Fixed
- Data labels no longer overlap in Pie, Donut, and Semi Donut charts after dashboard migration to Platform Analytics.
- Form navigation arrows now display correctly when records are opened with Mouse Middle Click from the Platform Analytics Visualization list view.
- Arrows in the form view now function properly when records are opened from the list visualization.
