HR services are the starting point for HR case creation and define the request to fulfillment process for that case type. You can create new or modify existing HR services, as well as configure them to be available for internal use only or for employee self-service.

Use this new Employee Experience Pack as a blueprint for adding basic HR services to your catalog for:

Family Care Leave of Absence Request
Medical Leave of Absence Request
Military Leave of Absence Request
Jury Duty Time Off Request

These services demonstrate how to begin creating an HR catalog that generates basic cases for HR to manage. There may be other, more detailed, Journeys available in the store that extend these concepts with a full Employee Journey and Lifecycle Event configuration. For example, there is a standalone Medical Leave Pack that automates the tasking throughout the organization with process insights and detailed content available for customers with HRSD Enterprise.

The purpose of Employee Experience Packs is to help explain the power and ease of configuration of ServiceNow to support complex processes and use cases while providing a great experience. The Employee Experience Packs strive to leverage as many of the advanced features of the system, in support of the specific use case, to demonstrate capabilities new customers/users of the system may not be aware exist. The packs are not intended as direct-install processes ready to leverage in a production process flow, but simply to remove anxiety about where to start, or answer the question “what can a good process look like with all the features of ServiceNow?”
