Now Assist for FSC Common is the shared GenAI foundation for Finance & Supply Chain workflows. It delivers reusable conversational flows, summarization components and model-management utilities that other Now Assist apps (e.g., Now Assist for Supplier, Now Assist for Accounts Payable) depend on.
- Supplier conversational intake flow – shared Virtual Agent topics for tasks such as searching knowledge, checking case status, or asking about purchase orders.
- GenAI summarization components for purchase orders for fulfillers in Workspace and the Now Assist panel.
- Common orchestration layer (actions, roles, data structures) used by downstream GenAI apps in the Finance & Supply Chain suite.
- Supplier summarization for Supplier manager, AP specialist, Procurement agent.
- Field Extractor Skill: A new skill, 'Field Extractor' included which will automatically extracts the invoice number and supplier from the email description and updates the reference field in the invoice case.

- Long-Term Support (LTS) model option for regulated customers: In response to requirements from Financial Services customers and other highly regulated industries, ServiceNow is introducing a new SKU that provides access to a Long-Term Support (LTS) version of NowLLM. Delivered as part of a designated LTS Store release, the model is fixed, versioned, and supported for up to 24 months --offering customers predictable model behavior, lifecycle stability, and regulatory alignment.

- Prompt migration to NASK: Summarization skill prompts have been migrated into the Now Assist Skill Kit (NASK), enabling admins to configure, modify, and maintain summarization skills using the new OOB editable experience. This update preserves full administrative control while aligning skills to the modern, centralized prompt management framework.
