Qualys Core App is a prerequisite for the Qualys VMDR App. The Core App will establish a connection between Qualys VMDR and ServiceNow to import vulnerability data and configure import schedules. Then setup the assignment rules to route tickets to resolver groups, define SLAs based on various attributes, and create vulnerability tickets through the ITSM incident management table. Use the default configurations available in the Core App to define the detection event and grouping rules to manage vulnerabilities effectively.
