Integration
Absolute provides enhanced device visibility through its digital tether being embedded in the firmware of endpoint devices. The Absolute Connector provides joint customers the ability to view and manage devices including visibility of Absolute’s comprehensive asset and custom field data and take critical actions to freeze or execute scripts on devices from within their ServiceNow platform environment. This added visibility and telemetry enables organizations to more efficiently respond to service requests.

Enhancements
- Unfreeze Passcode:
- Add a new tab named “Absolute Freeze Actions” to display the passcode if the device has device actions such as Freeze On-Demand, Scheduled Freeze, or Offline Freeze.
- This passcode will be visible only to users who have the absolute_device_freeze or absolute_device_unfreeze role.
- Create a new Schedule Data Import named “Absolute Device Actions Import” to import those device actions.
- Custom Device Fields (CDF):
- Create a new Update Value of Absolute Custom Field flow (always kept deactivated, user can active for using if need) to automatically trigger synchronization when a user updates the CDF name or value.
- Create a new action Update Value of Absolute Custom Fields to allow running it with an input template.
- Add a new item to Absolute Remote Management so that admins (or user with the absolute_custom_field role) can update Custom Data Fields (CDFs) for devices.
- End User Messaging (EUM):
- Reuse the Absolute Custom Field Definitions Scheduled Import job to synchronize all CDF definitions.
- Update the UI in Absolute Remote Management so users can review the HTML of the template.
- Add an Action Name field to allow users to customize the action name.
- Freeze Action Enhancement:
- The Unfreeze code input has been changed from numeric/digit only to alphanumeric. The minimum code length p reviously was 4, but now supports 8 characters.

- Verified compatibility with the Australia platform release.
- Connection URL update: The connection URL field now accepts the Absolute API URL directly, removing the previous limitation to specific data centers (CA1, US1, EU2). Existing URLs for these regions remain fully compatible.

- Absolute Remote Management – Run Playbook
- End users can now execute playbook templates directly from the ServiceNow UI within the Absolute Remote Management menu.
- Supports dynamic addition of playbook commands and variables, consistent with the Absolute console experience.
- Playbook configurations can be saved as Absolute Remote Management templates for reuse with the corresponding Flow Designer action.
- Added a new Run Playbook Flow Designer action, enabling execution of Absolute playbooks from customer-built Flows and Subflows.

- Enable the Absolute Software Scheduled Import to automatically sync this information to your instance.

- Automatically updates the Agent Status to Disabled on the Absolute Device Status record.
- Improves data consistency between Absolute and ServiceNow when devices are unenrolled.
- Enable this feature by activating the Absolute Disabled Devices Scheduled Import.
- End-User Messaging Templates
- The End-User Messaging action now includes a dropdown to select existing End User Message Templates from Absolute.
- Selected templates can be further customized, eliminating the need to author message HTML from scratch.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed an issue where the Remote Management widget did not correctly display available actions for users without full Remote Management access. Authorized actions are now shown correctly based on user permissions.
- macOS CryptoWipe enhancement: When performing the Wipe Remote Management action on macOS devices, you can now optionally provide a username and password.
- Fixed an issue where the Absolute Devices Robust Transformer properties contained an unnecessary space character
