- SmartChange History Integration
This integration captures comprehensive SAP development updates, including transport metadata, status transitions, and precise timestamps, thereby providing full traceability of development lifecycles within the ServiceNow platform.
- UI Library Refactoring and Migration
UI libraries previously maintained in external Azure repositories are being migrated into the ServiceNow environment. As part of this migration, the modules are being refactored to comply with ECMAScript 2015+ (ES6) standards, optimizing performance and ensuring compatibility with modern ServiceNow UI frameworks.
- Automated Business Rules for Transport Approvals and Starting of ToCs
To streamline implementation, custom scripts have been provided to be easily invoked from within these configured Business Rules, allowing for rapid deployment of complex approval logic without extensive manual coding.
- OData Parameter Encoding
Resolved a critical failure in the mass release OData batch process (/sap/opu/odata/RTC/TM_GW_SRV/$batch). The externalUser parameter is now correctly URL-encoded within PUT requests, preventing execution errors caused by whitespace or special characters in user identifiers.
- Special Character Tokenization
Fixed an "Invalid token" error occurring during project and destination lookups. The OData parser has been updated to correctly handle short text containing special characters, specifically underscores (_), ampersands (&), and single quotes (').
- OData Structure Backward Compatibility
Implemented a fallback mechanism for older OData service versions. The integration now correctly handles OData structures where the TrShortDescr property is not present, ensuring uninterrupted service for legacy SAP configurations.

- To use the integration, the user requires the role x_real3_app1.SM.
- Administration modules from the REALTECH SmartChange menu require the role x_real3_app1.SM_admin.

- The integration will show on the view "Default view".
REALTECH SmartChange
This integration requires a licensed installation of REALTECH SmartChange Transport Management. SmartChange must be installed and configured in your SAP landscape before the ServiceNow integration can be activated.
