Puppet Self Service Spoke gives I&O and DevOps teams self-service workflows to use for managing Puppet assets directly from ServiceNow's CMBD interface. You get the power of Puppet's data and action engine without leaving ServiceNow.
The Puppet Self Service Spoke enables teams to execute actions on Puppet managed infrastruture directly from ServiceNow. Teams can either customize self-service workflows and/or use the following out-of-the-box workflows:
- Request Puppet Access
- Install Puppet Agent
- Manage Package
- Manage Service
- Reboot a Machine
- Run a Command
- Run Puppet
User's have a personalised Audit log of their activities.
Customer's will need to be:
- Purchase Puppet Enterprise Advanced. https://www.puppet.com/products/puppet-enterprise-advanced
- On the latest release of Puppet Enterprise (2023.7.1 LTS) or newer
- Using ServiceNow Vancouver or newer
- Have ServiceNow ITSM Licensing
